Today Becca has gone for a brief dip back into true crime with a tragic case that ends in the family annihilation of the whole family in a murder suicide. In this first of two parts, Becca talks about Jen and Sarah Hart, a couple who adopted 6 children.
Outwardly, their lives seemed like idyllic dreams, but under the surface things were far worse than anyone could have ever imagined.

Episode 46: The Tragic Murder of Holly Bobo

Join us this week as Elle looks into the tragic murder of 20 year old nursing student Holly Bobo.
Holly was such a genuine, nice and lovely girl who was on her way to an 8am nursing exam, when she was kidnapped and murdered. It would be 3 years before her body was found, and before anyone was arrested. This is a case with lots of twists and turns, and which left the question of 'are the right people in jail'?

Episode 44: The Murder of Annie Le

Join us this week for another Elle episode - which can only mean one thing, we're back to true crime this week! 
Sadly this is such a tragic case, that is full of heart wrenching irony. Annie Le was 24 years old, and she was busy burning brightly as she not only planned her wedding with her fiancé Jonathan Widawsky, but also studying for her PHD at Yale with an aim to treat and cure diabetes and certain cancers. Horrifically though her life would be cut short 5 days before her wedding, ending a life that could have changed countless others.

Episode 43: Descending Everest Blind Part 3

Today we’re finally summiting Everest with climber and ex Naval rescue swimmer Brian Dickinson!
We finally face the horrors of loosing your sight at the top of the tallest mountain in the world, and follow Brian as he realises his only chance of survival is to try and descend the mountain while unable to see, and navigate all the obstacles that are hard enough in typical circumstances, and which included narrow bridges with drops of 2 miles either side, and ladders over chasms...and his faces this challenge!

Episode 39: The Slenderman Stabbing Part 1

We're finally back to an Elle episode! And while it's not spooky season anymore, join us for an dive into the Slenderman Stabbing case.
In 2014, Payton Leutner was stabbed by her friend Morgan Geyser and also Anissa Weier... all of them were just 12 years old.  After stabbing Payton, Morgan and Anissa left her to die while they set off looking for the Slenderman. Luckily they were quickly caught, and Payton would go on to make a full recovery, but in this first part we will look into the 3 girls relationship and also battles that Morgan, and to a differing degree also Anissa, had with mental illness.
